Through lectures, case study reviews, problem-solving exercises, and group discussions, you will become a more valuable member of the health care construction team.</p><p><strong>Learning Outcomes</strong></p><ul><li>Create and maintain work areas that support the facility's infection prevention protocols in order to reduce transmission of hospital-acquired infections.</li><li>Educate and train your team on infection prevention and best practices.</li><li>Explain the importance of conducting an infection control risk assessment (ICRA) for every project.</li><li>Explain the intent of the various compliance, regulatory standard, and guideline-setting agencies, including the Joint Commission, Facility Guidelines Institute, and Centers for Disease Control.</li></ul><p>This course offers 12.5 CECs.
