The presentation will explore how a hospital can establish water-related sustainability opportunities, and how to balance those opportunities with safety – specifically mitigating the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. The first is the energy associated with delivering the water to the site, as the energy associated with pumping the water to the site or to the water tower serving the site generates carbon emissions.
