Description:

This presentation is tailored for Facility Engineers interested in increasing their knowledge of the importance of a having a proactive Roof Asset Management Program in place. The presentation explains the positive impacts of monitoring the current condition of each roof of their facilities and outbuildings can have on their bottom line by implementing a ManagedAssetTM approach to their building envelopes. It also outlines the resources and diagnostic tools available to avoid the cost of neglect and achieve an effective asset management program.


Learning Objectives: 

Attendees will learn how they can tailor their building specific Roofing Asset Management Programs to achieve the following:

  • Minimize leakage
  • Extend building service life
  • Reduce life cycle costs
  • Budget predictability
  • Experience fewer complaints about the building envelope from patients/employees
  • Improve health, safety, and comfort
  • Reduce environmental issues
  • Identify maintenance and restoration opportunities
