The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and accrediting organizations (AOs) require compliance with the 2012 editions of NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code and NFPA 101簧, Life Safety Code簧, therefore this monograph references those editions of the codes.
